Hymenochirus boettgeri are small African clawed frogs of the same family of the better known Xenopus laevis. These shy frogs remain smaller compared to their cousins and during the day can be found resting on leaves of underwater plants or repaired under vegetation or rocks. They are a popular house pet and a really interesting animal. Design by the artist Marco Garbelli.
